I had a fantastic stay at Hotel 50 Bowery during the Lunar New Year celebrations in Chinatown. The location was perfect, surrounded by very nice restaurants and attractions, though I did miss a proper breakfast restaurant. The rooftop bar was a highlight with stunning views, but I found the blankets to be a bit lacking in comfort. Overall, I would gladly return and recommend this hotel to others.

The hotel’s location on Bowery, just south of Canal, made it super easy to explore Chinatown and Little Italy. I appreciated the proximity to multiple subway stations for getting around the city.
Dining

I enjoyed the rooftop bar drinks and atmosphere, but I felt a formal breakfast option would have enhanced my experience, as I mostly had coffee from the living room area on the second floor.
Facilities

The hotel provided great facilities like luggage storage and efficient room service, though having more dining options available would have been a plus.

My stay at Hotel 50 Bowery was fantastic. The staff provided excellent service, making me feel welcome and attended to. The rooftop bar had amazing views, but I wished the room had more lighting options for getting ready.

7.0/10

My recent stay at Hotel 50 Bowery was a mix of highs and lows. While I appreciated the spacious room and great views, the service left much to be desired. The location in Chinatown was convenient for exploration, but the surroundings felt chaotic at times. Overall, it didn't quite meet my expectations for the price I paid.

Rooms
8.0
The room I stayed in was large and modern, with a comfortable king bed and nice bathroom features. I enjoyed the sliding door design in the bathroom, which saved space and maintained the room's aesthetics.
Service
5.0
Unfortunately, the service fell short. My requests for assistance were met with indifference, and housekeeping didn't seem thorough. I felt like the staff could have been more proactive in addressing my concerns.
Location
7.0
The hotel's proximity to both Chinatown and Little Italy was a plus, making it easy to find diverse dining options. However, the surrounding area did feel overcrowded with tourists and vendors, which could be overwhelming.
Dining

While I appreciated the breakfast option, I found it overpriced and lacking variety. There weren't a la carte options available, which would have been nice. I eventually opted to explore local restaurants instead.
Facilities

The rooftop bar had a wonderful atmosphere and views, though the drink options were somewhat limited and on the expensive side. The absence of a dedicated restaurant for breakfast was noticeable.

I had a lovely experience at Hotel 50 Bowery. The location in Chinatown was fantastic for exploring nearby attractions and trying amazing food. While I encountered a surprise destination fee upon checkout, the friendly staff and the vibrant rooftop bar made up for it. Overall, I left with great memories and a desire to return.

Breakfast options nearby were excellent, especially the Lebanese restaurant we got vouchers for. Although dining was not included in my fare, the quality made it worth it. Still, I wish that some meals were part of my stay.

The rooftop bar offered stunning views of Manhattan and made for a lively evening hangout. Facilities like the terrace and coffee room were excellent. However, the fees felt a bit unexpected and honestly a slight drawback.
